Getting strong looks the same across the board, whether you’re getting strong for daily life, outdoor sports, hobbies, or organized sport for that matter…

Athletes that participate in organized, team sports are expected to strength train as part of their regime. After being in the field of sports performance for about 8 years, I started to notice a gap that existed when it came to outdoor athletes placing that same focus on strength training. So I decided to dedicate the majority of my career in providing both the education and services needed to start filling in that gap.

Learning and understanding the principles and benefits of lifting and how they apply directly to the things you love to do…well that’s exactly what I love to do!

Get Fitz With Ava focuses on the mental, cognitive, and neurological aspects of training that are so often forgotten. We place emphasis on how these elements can be applied directly to our physical endeavors, through exercise itself.

My goal is to include you in the process of program design, exercise choice, and progressions, based on your ability to name your current goals and priorities. We work at building up your fundamental strength and then continuing to challenge your mental and physical self to adapt — whether it be through my Get Strong program or 1 on 1 training and personalized programming.

Watching clients align mind + body through movement, and sink into that flow state, is unmatched.
